Baking has always been more than just a hobby for Erin Washington — It's A Legacy, A Passion, and A Calling. Erin’s love for baking began in Compton, CA in the kitchen of her Great Grandma Athen Cooper, where the comforting smell of homemade treats and the joy of creating something from scratch first took root. From baking with an Easy-Bake Oven as a child to mastering complex pastries as an adult, Erin’s journey has been one filled with Purpose, Love, and Sweet Memories.
In 2011, Erin graduated with a Degree in Baking and Pastry from Culinary School, fully equipped to turn her lifelong passion into a career. That same year, she launched Baby Cakes Walk , a small business that started with big dreams and a bigger heart. What began as a one-woman operation has grown steadily over the years, fueled by dedication, faith, and a deep love for sharing joy through food.
Every dessert Erin creates is made with Love, Sealed with a Prayer, and designed to bring a smile to someone’s face. Whether it’s a classic Cheesecake, Fresh Cobbler, A light and airy Cupcake, a Custom Cake, or a handcrafted Banana Pudding, Erin believes that food has the power to connect, comfort, and celebrate life’s sweetest moments.
